Job summary

EdFed Credit Union is seeking a Systems Engineer I – M365 to administer the Microsoft 365 tenant, Entra ID, Intune, and the security stack, while contributing to IT infrastructure across servers, networking, and UC/security operations. The role is structured as a 50/50 split between cloud-focused duties and shared IT Infra responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
• Knowledge of Entra ID, conditional access, and SSO protocols.
• Experience with Intune device management and Autopilot.
• Familiarity with email security protocols (DMARC/DKIM/SPF) and secure mail gateways.
• Active Directory administration and CIS benchmark hardening.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) including user lifecycle, licensing, permissions, mail flow, and governance.
• Manage email security platforms (Proofpoint, Defender) and DMARC/DKIM/SPF configurations.
• Monitor service health, coordinate incidents, and execute migrations and tenant changes.
• Support M365 Copilot enablement including licensing and policy configuration.
• Administer Entra ID including conditional access, SSO integrations, and hybrid configurations.
• Maintain on-prem AD, AD Sites & Services, and security benchmarks.
• Manage Intune for MDM/MAM, Autopilot, and Defender for Endpoint.
• Implement MFA and passwordless authentication; enforce endpoint security baselines.
• Collaborate on security operations and regulatory audits (FFIEC/GLBA/NCUA).
• Develop automation using PowerShell and Graph API; maintain scripts in source control.
