Job summary

J.E. Dunn Construction Company is seeking an M/E Engineer 2 located in Atlanta, GA. This role focuses on routine mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities, with responsibilities including assisting in M/E estimates and performing job inspections to ensure quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years construction and/or engineering experience (Required).
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Assist in developing budgetary M/E estimates.
• Participate in the completion of bid analysis.
• Perform job inspections to ensure specifications and expectations are met.
• Participate in the commissioning process including developing pre-functional checklists.

Ability to read and understand plans, drawings and specifications

Proficiency in MS Office

Ability to perform work accurately and completely

Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team

Education

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, architectural engineering or related field
