Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Atlanta is seeking an entry-level M/E Engineer I to perform basic mechanical, electrical and field construction tasks. You will collect and assemble data, learn how to develop estimates, and support bid analyses across projects.

This role offers exposure to safety, quality plans, and collaboration within a growing M/E team as you progress toward the M/E Engineer II role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or related field is required, or equivalent experience.
• Exposure to M/E design or construction processes is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic drafting/estimation tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Complete entry level and routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Learns to develop budgetary M/E estimates using program and schematic information.
• Assists in bid analysis and subcontractor selection.
• Learns to develop mechanical and electrical scopes of work for bid coordination.
• Assists with shop drawing/submittal process to comply with contract documents.
• Assists with commissioning activities including functional testing procedures.
