Job summary

JE Dunn in Atlanta, GA seeks an M/E Engineer 2 to perform routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities and assist with estimates and bid analysis. You will develop mechanical/electrical scopes, review options during preconstruction, and contribute to project sequencing and schedules.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and 2+ years of construction/engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years construction/engineering experience.
• Ability to read and understand plans, drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with M/E estimating and shop drawing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Assist in developing budgetary M/E estimates and bid analysis.
• Support coordination of mechanical/electrical scopes during the bid process.
• Participate in project site inspections and commissioning activities.
• Contribute to developing sequencing for systems to meet schedules.
