Job summary

Riveron is seeking skilled professionals to join our M&A advisory team in Washington, DC. You will leverage financial acumen and GAAP knowledge to support buy‑ and sell‑side transactions, performing quality of earnings analyses, working capital reviews, and cash flow assessments.

You will collaborate with executives and project teams, draft client-facing deliverables, participate in interviews, and coach junior staff. A strong background in accounting and 4+ years in M&A is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant transaction experience, including quality of earnings, working capital, and cash flow analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills including SUMIF, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH, etc.

Responsibilities

• Use financial acumen and GAAP knowledge to advise on financial, operational, and tax issues in M&A transactions.
• Conduct and review analyses of financial and accounting issues related to business transactions.
• Assist in quality of earnings and net working capital analyses for buy- and sell-side deals.
• Participate in executive management interviews of target companies.
• Draft sections of reports and client-facing deliverables.
• Collaborate with project team to manage workstreams and deadlines.
• Coach and guide junior team members.
