Job summary

BMSS Advisors & CPAs is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice, focused on financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. You will work with owners, PE sponsors, lenders, and deal teams to deliver analyses that inform critical decisions.

In this role you will build trusted connections across teams and clients while expanding your technical advisory skill set in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in public accounting audit, transaction advisory, investment banking, or private equity.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial due diligence and Quality of Earnings analyses supporting buy-side and sell-side transactions.
• Collaborate with clients, deal counsel, and transaction advisors throughout the deal cycle.
• Contribute to working capital analyses, financial statement normalization, and key findings documentation.
• Assist with closing statement preparation and review, including net working capital true-ups and cash/equivalents determinations.
• Prepare clear, well-supported analyses and reports for clients and deal teams.
• Build strong working relationships with internal team members, clients, and external deal professionals.
