BMSS Advisors & CPAs, founded in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Transaction Advisory Services practice, focusing on financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. You'll work with owners, sponsors, lenders, and deal teams to deliver analyses and reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public accounting, audit, TAS, or related experience.
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial due diligence and Quality of Earnings analyses for buy-side and sell-side engagements.
• Collaborate with clients, deal counsel, and advisors throughout the deal cycle.
• Contribute to working capital analyses and financial statement normalization.
• Assist with closing statement preparation and net working capital true-ups.
• Prepare clear analyses and reports for transaction opportunities and risks.
• Maintain strong internal and client relationships across engagements.
