Job summary

Plante Moran’s Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team seeks a manager to lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements, perform quality of earnings analysis, working capital assessments, and policy reviews to evaluate performance and risk. You will research industry data, build financial models, present findings to clients, supervise staff, and help scope projects.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred, 4–6 years in TAS or related fields,

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification preferred
• 4–6 years of experience in TAS, Audit, Consulting, or Investment Banking
• Approximately 20% travel overnight

Responsibilities

• Provide transaction oriented accounting and reporting assistance for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and management buyouts
• Prepare detailed financial analysis to assist clients evaluating acquisition decisions
• Participate in client meetings and site visits while interacting with top-level management to acquire and assess important information for financial analysis
• Develop and review financial forecasts
• Assist with development and review of financial reports to determine quality of historical earnings and assets and liabilities to be acquired
• Analyze financial statements to determine sustainability of performance
• Assist in preparing proposals and engagement letters
• Organize varying projects against deadlines and mange time effectively
