Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Product Architect Manager for its M&A Technology Diligence team. You will assess target architectures, lead advisory tasks, and drive recommendations to clients and investors during buy-side and post-close activities.

In this role, you will combine technology insight with business context to shape integration plans, modernization priorities, and value creation strategies across complex transactions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in product architecture, software engineering, enterprise architecture, or platform engineering.
• 6+ years of experience evaluating product architecture, platform design, cloud environments, integration patterns, APIs, data flows, and infrastructure dependencies.
• 6+ years of experience designing, assessing, or modernizing complex software products and digital platforms.
• 3+ years of experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and 6+ years consulting or industry experience; MBA with 4+ years is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize overall technology strategy by analyzing solutions and reporting outputs.
• Evaluate software products, platforms, and ecosystems for risks and opportunities.
• Assess architecture quality, technical debt, and scalability.
• Lead due diligence engagements for buy-side and sell-side.
• Translate findings into concise diligence outputs for senior stakeholders.
• Present findings to corporate development teams and private equity investors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across streams and services.
