Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Technology Diligence Product Architect Manager in Tempe, AZ. You will assess product and technology architectures for acquisition targets and portfolio companies, advising PE and corporate clients on growth and risk.

This role blends technology, architecture and M&A strategy in a fast-paced environment. You will lead diligence teams, translate technical findings into business implications, and collaborate across disciplines to drive value creation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in product architecture, software engineering, enterprise architecture, or platform engineering.
• 6+ years of experience evaluating product architecture, platform design, cloud environments, APIs, data flows and infrastructure dependencies.
• 6+ years of experience designing, assessing, or modernizing complex software products and digital platforms.
• 3+ years of experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• 3+ years of experience synthesizing data, identifying risks and value-creation opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with 6+ years consulting/industry experience; MBA with 4+ years possible
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average

Responsibilities

• Synthesize technology strategy and report outputs for diligence engagements.
• Evaluate software products, platforms, and ecosystems for risks, scalability, debt and value opportunities.
• Assess architecture quality, engineering maturity, and platform scalability.
• Lead buy-side, sell-side and carve-out due diligence engagements.
• Analyze roadmap feasibility and architecture for future growth and integration.
• Identify technical debt and architectural risks affecting valuation.
• Review software lifecycle maturity, DevSecOps, release and testing.
• Translate findings into concise diligence outputs for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across practices.
• Guide post-close integration and separation planning.
