Job summary

Deloitte's M&A tech diligence product architecture managers assess the product and technology architecture of acquisition targets to help clients make informed transaction decisions. As a manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to corporate and private equity clients in a fast-paced, roll-up-your-sleeves culture.

The role requires 6+ years of product architecture, software engineering, or platform design, plus cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, and the ability to guide architecture

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in product architecture, software engineering, or platform engineering.
• 6+ years evaluating architecture, cloud environments, APIs, and data flows.
• 3+ years of experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IS; MBA is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize overall technology strategy by analyzing solutions and reporting outputs.
• Evaluate architecture quality, technical debt, and platform scalability.
• Assess product scalability, security and readiness across R&D, SDLC, and infrastructure.
• Identify technology risks and post-close integration priorities.
• Present findings to senior stakeholders including private equity investors.
