Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field required.
2+ years of work-related experience in a mid to large-size professional services firm.
CPA or JD/LLM required.
Tax due diligence, deal structuring and post-acquisition planning experience.

Commitment to client service and ethics.

Responsibilities

Interact directly with Partners on client and engagement management.
Model financial transactions for valuation, structuring and negotiation.
Prepare memoranda and presentations describing client attributes and industries.
Analyze tax aspects of acquisition and merger agreements; draft tax opinions.
Identify tax risks and opportunities; advise on alternative tax strategies.
Review tax computations in financial models and support tax data analysis.
Data gathering, document review and report preparation.
Research & financial analysis of target companies; due diligence for buy/sell deals.
Assist in transaction structuring for tax and accounting issues; provide negotiation support.
Communicate with business owners to ensure exceptional service; participate in marketing and recruiting activities.
