Job summary

KPMG LLP in Chicago is seeking a Manager to join our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) tax practice. You will advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services related to planning, due diligence, and structuring for transactions.

Collaborate with senior M&A Tax professionals, manage multiple engagements, and contribute to staff training. Strong research and writing skills, CPA/EA/JD/LLM credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with federal tax and M&A tax in professional services.
• Bachelor's degree required; CPA/EA/JD/LLM credentials preferred.
• Broad knowledge of corporate tax matters and due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on corporate tax planning, research, and M&A activities.
• Deliver due diligence and tax structuring services with a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with senior M&A Tax colleagues on complex tax issues.
• Assist clients with bankruptcy emergence planning, restructurings, and section 382 studies.
• Develop, motivate, and train staff-level team members.
