Baker Tilly is seeking a team-oriented professional to join its Mergers and Acquisitions group. The role focuses on tax diligence, structuring, and modeling services for buy-side and sell-side transactions, helping clients quantify tax exposures.

The position supports project managers, clients, and peers on various engagements, with opportunities to develop expertise in tax and M&A services while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA preferred. If not a CPA, must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon hire in state of employment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis; Baker Tilly will not sponsor visas.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Previous experience in a public accounting firm or law firm preferred.
• Travel approximately 15%.

Responsibilities

• Assist Seniors, Managers and Partners in conducting financial due diligence on middle-market companies in a variety of industries.
• Conduct analytical reviews of data and prepare findings.
• Create draft reports for management review.
• Research issues that arose during the course of engagement.
