Baker Tilly US, LLP is seeking an M&A Tax Due Diligence Analyst to join its Mergers & Acquisitions practice. You will assist project teams by performing financial due diligence on middle-market companies and help quantify tax exposures in buy-side and sell-side engagements.

Required: bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA preferred, US work authorization, about 1 year of related experience, proficiency in MS Office, and willingness to travel ~15%. Competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or a related field.
  • CPA preferred; if not CPA, must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA license after hire.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience.
  • Experience in public accounting or law firm preferred.
  • Experience in tax due diligence and mergers & acquisitions tax consulting preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15%.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Seniors, Managers and Partners in conducting financial due diligence on middle-market companies in a variety of industries.
  • Conduct analytical reviews of data and prepare findings.
  • Create draft reports for management review.
  • Research issues that arise during the course of engagement.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
CPA preferred
