Resultant is seeking an M&A Consulting Intern for a 10-week summer program in Chicago with a hybrid in-office schedule. Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a self‑starter and take initiative to contribute actively to discussions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to assess data, trends, and potential solutions.
• Ability to perform research and summarize meaningful findings concisely.
• Basic understanding of technology concepts, such as databases, software development principles, and cloud computing.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and platforms
• Able to clearly present data and recommendations to both team members and clients.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to visual design and critical details.
• Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to changing business environments or client demands.
• Open to taking on various roles and responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and conference calls to take notes, track action items, and support follow‑up communications.
• Conduct thorough research on potential and current private equity, investment banking, or corporate clients, including industry trends, competitors, and key business challenges.
• Analyze client business models and technology needs to identify potential solutions and opportunities.
• Summarize findings in written reports or in‑depth presentations for internal teams and client discussions.
• Leverage AI and advanced tools to organize data, insights, and strategic recommendations into clear and concise presentation formats including dashboards, graphs, diagrams, and excel exhibits for internal and client review.
• Assist in assessing complex client technology infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and financial metrics.
• Support the development of data‑driven recommendations by conducting quantitative and qualitative assessments in condensed timelines.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies, software tools, and digital platforms that can be leveraged for client solutions.
• Assist with system integration assessments or basic configuration tasks where appropriate.
• Work closely with internal consulting teams, technology experts, and others to support ongoing projects.
