Job summary

3M is seeking a Manager, Corporate Development to collaborate with global teams and drive M&A initiatives. You will lead portfolio management, develop a robust pipeline for acquisitions and divestitures, and support deal execution from due diligence to valuation.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in M&A, with 8–10 years preferred. On-site at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN, travel up to 25% and relocation may be authorized. Competitive compensation and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher completed and verified before start.
• Five (5) years of merger & acquisitions experience within corporate development, investment banking or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of mergers & acquisitions across the enterprise with focus on portfolio management for value creation and growth.
• Assist in developing a robust pipeline of acquisition and divestment opportunities.
• Support deal execution including due diligence, financial modeling and valuation.
• Collaborate with internal functions before, during, and after M&A processes.
• Prepare M&A-related presentations for the Board and executives.
