Job summary

Ridgepost Capital (NYSE: RPC) seeks an Analyst, M&A and Strategy to support inorganic growth initiatives, including acquisitions and partnerships. The role reports to the Director, M&A and Strategy and interacts with senior leadership across the firm.

This position provides exposure to senior leadership and board-level decision-making within a growing private markets platform, ideal for high-potential banking analysts seeking a long-term strategic role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 2–3 years in investment banking, asset management, M&A, or corporate development.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and valuation.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Familiarity with CapitalIQ, PitchBook, or similar databases.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex financial models for targets and internal planning.
• Analyze transaction structures, valuation drivers, earnouts, and financing aspects.
• Produce transaction analyses (accretion/dilution, IRR, comps) for decision-makers.
• Support due diligence, synthesize data into actionable insights for dealteams.
• Draft materials for deal committees and boards, coordinate with stakeholders.
• Assist integration post-announcement across functional streams.
