Job summary

BridgePort Financial Solutions is seeking an Associate Director of Business Development to support the company’s acquisition growth strategy in the Fee Only RIA market. The role reports to the SVP of Business Development and focuses on sourcing, screening, and managing M&A opportunities while guiding the integration of acquired RIAs.

The ideal candidate is relationship-driven and highly organized with knowledge of financial services and strategic growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, corporate development, recruiting, or business strategy within wealth management channels.
• Proven ability to identify and develop acquisition leads and manage integration workstreams.
• Strong relationship development with decision-makers and industry professionals.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop potential acquisition leads in the Fee Only RIA marketplace through outreach and networking.
• Evaluate RIAs via screening and due diligence to assess alignment with BridgePort’s goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to support growth opportunities.
• Represent BridgePort at industry events to promote visibility and develop acquisition pipelines.
• Lead onboarding and integration efforts to ensure smooth transitions for acquired RIAs.
• Maintain CRM records with notes, leads, and follow-ups; prepare leadership reports.
