Job summary

H1 is seeking a Senior Corp Dev professional to own financial activities for the M&A function. You will report to the SVP Finance and help build the M&A playbook, guiding opportunities from sourcing to launch.

Ideal candidates will craft financial models, evaluate markets, and collaborate with executives across finance, legal, and product. Travel for in-person interviews may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• This role requires 3+ years in investment banking, private equity, corporate development or transaction advisory.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills to evaluate complex opportunities.
• Experience sourcing, negotiating, or executing M&A, investments, partnerships, or other strategic transactions.
• Excellent judgment and ability to communicate complex analysis clearly.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate M&A, strategic investments, partnerships and other opportunities.
• Build relationships with founders, financial institutions, fintechs, investors and strategic partners.
• Develop models and analyses to evaluate potential transactions.
• Lead opportunities from sourcing through diligence, negotiation, execution and launch.
• Coordinate cross-functional diligence across Finance, Legal, Compliance, Product, Engineering and Operations.
