Job summary

Xpand, a Linville Team Partners company, is seeking a Senior Associate to join their M&A team. This position supports business development and oversees buy-side mandates on the advisory side, serving as the face of Xpand to strategic buyers.

This full-time,Hybrid role is based in Winston-Salem, NC or Columbus, OH and reports to the Director, M&A. The candidate will originate opportunities, present deals, and coordinate with internal and external teams to execute pipelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in business development, corporate development, buy-side investment banking or private equity.
• Persistent, resourceful, self-motivated, and personable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to efficiently and accurately manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Business development via calls, emails and text to business owners in key markets.
• Manage buy-side mandate relationships within 1–2 industries.
• Communicate with internal and external teams on deal pipelines.
• Effectively manage and lead direct report(s).
• Review markets across the country using various research tools.
• Execute and manage prospecting campaigns.
• Gather due diligence information from business owners.
