Job summary

Xpand, a Linville Team Partners company, is seeking a Senior Associate to join their M&A team. This position will play a role in business development and mandate oversight on our buy-side advisory team.

You will originate, present, and negotiate opportunities as the face of Xpand to strategic buyers, collaborating with internal and external teams across markets.

The role is full-time and hybrid, with locations in Winston-Salem, NC or Columbus, OH, reporting to the Director, M&A.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in business development, corporate development, buy‑side investment banking or private equity.

Responsibilities

• Business development via phone calls, emails and text to business owners in key markets.
• Manage buy‑side mandate relationships within 1-2 industries.
• Communicate with internal and external teams on their deal pipelines.
• Effectively manage and lead direct report(s).
• Review markets across the country utilizing various research tools.
• Execute and manage prospecting campaigns.
• Gather due diligence information from business owners.
