Job summary

Accordion Partners in New York is seeking an Associate for its Transactions group, a hybrid role based in NYC or Dallas with remote flexibility two days a week. You will support client teams on operational diligence, merger integration and carve-out initiatives, coordinating cross-functional workstreams and delivering actionable insights for CFOs and PE sponsors.

You will lead or support IMO/SMO workstreams, develop integration plans, and contribute to client proposals while mentoring junior

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in operational/commercial diligence, merger integration, carve-outs or business transformation.
• Experience with cross-functional project delivery and PMO/IMO/SMO frameworks is preferred.
• Familiarity with CFO agendas and private equity sponsor relationships is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support client teams on operational diligence, merger integration and carve-out initiatives.
• Develop and manage functional integration and carve-out plans with cross-functional interdependencies.
• Facilitate due diligence meetings, identify operational/technology strategies and current-state processes.
• Assist with client proposals, thought leadership, and refinement of Accordion’s M&A methodologies.
• Mentor consultants and travel to client sites as needed.
