Job summary

LHH is assisting a highly regarded AmLaw firm in Portland/Seattle in its search for a Corporate, M&A & Securities Associate. This role offers exposure to sophisticated M&A, private equity, venture capital, and securities matters for a diverse client base, including public and private companies, investors, founders, and growth businesses.

You will actively participate in deal execution, client counseling, and all stages of growth-focused transactions, contributing to a long-term career

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of corporate transactional experience at a highly regarded firm.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, securities law, corporate governance, and commercial transactions.
• Experience representing public companies, private companies, investors, founders, private equity and venture capital clients, and/or emerging growth companies.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills, including acquisition agreements and related transaction documents.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction or eligibility for admission in the hiring jurisdiction.

• Take an active role in deal execution and client counseling across all stages of transactions.
• Advise public and private companies, investors, founders, and emerging growth businesses.
• Build and maintain lasting client relationships while contributing to matter strategy.
