The New York office of Jones Day is seeking mid-level associates to join its Corporate Practice Group. Jones Day's Corporate Practice, co-led from New York, focuses on global M&A and private equity across industries.

The role emphasizes drafting, negotiation, client interaction, and teamwork within a high-volume corporate practice. Qualified candidates should have 3–6 years of large law firm experience in M&A and/or private equity, with a track record across both strategic and sponsor sides

Formación

• 3–6 years of large law firm experience working on M&A and/or private equity transactions.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Superior academic background with strong client interaction and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Work across the spectrum of corporate transactions, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, divestitures and joint ventures on the strategic side.
• Engage in buyouts, take-private transactions, co-investments, and portfolio company acquisitions and dispositions on the private equity side.
