Job summary

Jobot, a leading law firm in New York, seeks corporate associates to join a transactional practice focused on mergers and acquisitions and private equity. You will work closely with sponsors, companies, and internal deal teams across all stages of transactions.

This role offers exposure to a wide range of deal types in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to draft and negotiate primary and ancillary documents, conduct due diligence, and advise clients.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of corporate transactional experience.
• Experience in mergers & acquisitions and/or private equity transactions.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deals in a fast-paced environment.
• Admission to a U.S. bar or eligibility for admission.

Responsibilities

• Support mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions from inception through closing
• Draft and negotiate primary and ancillary transaction documents
• Conduct due diligence and assist with transaction structuring and execution
• Coordinate deal processes, including managing timelines and working with internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with team members on complex corporate and transactional matters
• Assist with post-closing matters and ongoing client advisory work
