Job summary

Sitreps is seeking a Head of Integration to lead the pre-close and post-close integration of an acquisitive platform. You will build the integration playbook, coordinate owners across Operations, Finance, HR, IT, and Sales, and drive a repeatable integration cadence from LOI to full execution.

The role emphasizes influence over authority, requires strong governance, risk management, and a hands-on approach to delivering post-acquisition reporting and organizational transition.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of professional experience, including at least two years leading M&A integration, post-close operations, or comparable large-scale change programs.
• Experience from corporate integration, corporate development, consulting, private equity ops, or acquisitive operating company.
• Ability to build rapport with owner-operators, frontline teams, and senior functional leaders.
• Exceptional program management skills: integration plans, timelines, risk registers, 30/60/90-day checklists, logs, and status reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with executives, boards, or investors.
• Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced, acquisition-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Close Planning: Engage at LOI, absorb diligence findings, and build target understanding.
• Develop integration plan across structure, operating model, KPIs, tech migrations, back-office reporting, Day 1 readiness.
• Set up timelines, 30/60/90-day checklists, risk registers, logs, governance calls, and status reports.
• Partner with senior leadership and M&A to identify synergies and dis-synergies before close.
• Sequence activity around operating seasonality to minimize disruption.
