Job summary

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking a strategic advisor to support mergers and acquisitions by leading underwriting due diligence, evaluating risk, and ensuring seamless insurance integration across the deal lifecycle. You will advise clients, producers, and the transaction team on risk, coverage, and program alignment for ongoing operations and transactional events.

The role requires 5+ years of client service experience, a strong analytical mindset, and a team-oriented approach

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5+ years of client service, or High School degree with a minimum of 7 years of client service.
• Team-oriented self-starter with ability to organize and manage deadlines.
• Insurance knowledge, licenses, and willingness to pursue designations.

Responsibilities

• Lead insurance due diligence for buy-side M&A transactions and review policies and claims history.
• Analyze programs to identify risks, coverage gaps, and transaction exposures.
• Implement post-close insurance strategies and tail/run-off coverage placements.
• Advise on complex programs, renewal strategy, and carrier negotiations.
• Collaborate with clients, producers, underwriters, and counsel to deliver integrated risk solutions.
• Serve as primary contact delivering guidance on risk, coverage, and compliance.
