Atlantic Group is partnering with a private investment firm to recruit a Financial Controller who will lead financial operations across multiple portfolio companies, drive GAAP-compliant reporting, and manage post-acquisition integrations. This hands-on role requires strong M&A experience and the ability to scale finance processes in a high-growth environment.

The ideal candidate brings CPA credentials, 5+ years of leadership in accounting/finance, and a track record of roll-up or consolidation

Qualifications

  • CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance leadership experience.
  • Strong background in acquisitions, integrations, and multi-entity consolidations.
  • Experience in private equity-backed, roll-up, or business consolidation environments.
  • Knowledge of project accounting or recurring revenue models is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial operations for multiple portfolio companies ($25M+ combined revenue).
  • Lead consolidated financial reporting and ensure GAAP compliance.
  • Drive post-acquisition integrations, including ERP implementations and process improvements.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, KPI reporting, and audit coordination.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives and future acquisitions.
  • Build scalable accounting and reporting processes across growing businesses.
