Job summary

UPS is seeking a Finance & Accounting Special Projects Data Analytics supervisor in Atlanta, GA. The role supports mergers and acquisitions processes by extracting financial data, building analyses, and delivering insights to guide valuation and diligence activities.

The successful candidate will apply GAAP knowledge, work with diverse data tools, and collaborate across teams to ensure accurate reporting, budgeting, and project management support for the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree) – Accounting, Finance – Preferred
• Experience with SEC filing and reporting – Desired
• Experience with data analysis and project management tools – Strongly Preferred
• Experience working in a Public Accounting Firm – Desired

Responsibilities

• Apply problem solving and finance domain knowledge for insights and process simplification
• Clear writing and communication with senior audiences for data analysis
• Create dashboards and reports using data relationships and visualization
• Coordinate diligence activities for target companies and assist in valuation discussions
• Maintain and organize project records for cross-functional teams
• Assist in closing, consolidation and GAAP-compliant reporting processes
• Support external auditors with documentation and controls
