Senior Analyst – Process Improvement & Integration (Contract-to-Hire)

Overview

We are partnering with a leading, multi-entity enterprise and one of the best employers in Atlanta. The Senior Accountant will support process improvement, system integration, and transformation initiatives within its finance function. The senior Project Manager/Accountant role is a hands‑on role designed for someone who can bridge accounting fundamentals with project execution. The work is fast‑moving, stakeholder‑facing, and requires comfort operating with autonomy.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within financial impacting projects, particularly for M&A businesses, including Cox Fleet, Fleet Net, and Fleet Services.
  • Lead and manage financial impacting projects from inception to completion, ensuring documentation of current state processes and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with various teams, including accounting, trust and safety, customer operations, engineering, and UX, to ensure successful project implementation and integration.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, track milestones, and manage stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines.
  • Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to various levels of leadership, demonstrating strong executive presence.
  • Research and acquire knowledge on topics outside of core expertise to address project challenges and support problem‑solving efforts.
  • Automate and streamline processes, leveraging technology and system development integrations where applicable.
  • Act as a point of contact for project‑related inquiries and facilitate communication among team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  • 4+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong background in process improvement and project management.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proven experience leading projects, including the ability to define role, influence teams, and articulate project outcomes.
  • Familiarity with project management terminology and concepts (e.g., process flow).
  • Demonstrated executive presence and comfort presenting to leadership (e.g., senior managers, managers).
  • Experience with cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Ability to solve problems outside of direct expertise, including conducting research and seeking input from subject matter experts.
  • Excellent organizational skills for tracking project progress, managing milestones, and engaging stakeholders.
  • Hybrid role based in Atlanta
  • Minimal in‑office requirement (Ideal is 2 days a week), but openness to being on‑site regularly is important.
