Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) seeks an Associate for Global Transaction Analytics (GTA) to contribute across pre-deal to post-deal analysis. You will pull insights from data, support buy-side and sell-side due diligence, and collaborate with a global team leveraging market-leading technology and analytics capabilities.

The role emphasizes data extraction, visualization, and effective client communication within a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to mentor others and grow skills in M&A

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in data analytics or transaction services.
• Buy-side/vendor due diligence experience across industries preferred.
• Understanding of M&A / PE investment lifecycle preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Systems or a related field.
• Understanding of data extraction, manipulation, analytics and visualization approaches.
• Strong technical background with hands-on data analytics experience.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
• Exceptional project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work as both a team member and an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with numerous client engagements.
• Extract insights from data sets and trends by utilizing different tools and techniques.
• Effectively facilitate day-to-day client interaction and relationships.
• Work cohesively and collaboratively across stakeholders.
• Counsel and mentor junior members of the team and continue to develop the team’s technical acumen.
