Job summary

Bluespring Wealth Partners, LLC is seeking an M&A and Business Development Principal to lead evaluation, underwriting, and execution of acquisitions in wealth management. You will oversee complex deal processes from initial assessment through closing and shape strategy with senior leadership.

Responsibilities include managing diligence, building financial models, drafting term sheets, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely closings.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in investment banking, consulting, or related analytical roles.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research, modeling, and technical abilities.
• Independent starter who can work autonomously and in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational skills with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Manage financial and operational diligence to summarize information on prospective acquisitions.
• Prepare financial models showing historical and projected performance and returns.
• Craft proposals for the Deal Committee and participate in discussions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Bluespring/Kestra to complete diligence procedures.
• Draft term sheets and indications of interest for new opportunities.
• Oversee diligence with sellers and management to present Bluespring as a partner.
• Provide assessments and key findings to inform final deal decisions.
• Participate in transaction document drafting and negotiations.
• Capture and share knowledge from the M&A process with onboarding and consulting teams.
• Support strategic initiatives with analytical input for decision-making.
• Manage Bluespring's M&A pipeline and report opportunities to stakeholders.
• Document and track deal information and monitor competitor activity.
