Job summary

SkyVest Renewables is seeking an Associate, M&A to originate, structure, negotiate and execute acquisitions and capital optimization for wind, solar and energy storage assets across the U.S. The role reports to the Senior Director, M&A and Finance and operates from Newtown, PA or Houston, TX.

The candidate will own complex financial models, support due diligence, coordinate cross-functional teams, and prepare investment memoranda for senior leadership review in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of energy or infrastructure investment banking, PE, corporate development, or consulting.
• Experience on M&A and/or project finance transactions.
• BA/BS from a top university in finance/economics/business/accounting, or quantitative field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; detail-oriented.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own construction and maintenance of complex financial models for valuations and bid pricing.
• Coordinate due diligence across technical, legal, commercial, and environmental teams.
• Support transaction execution from NDA to close and prepare deal materials.
• Prepare investment memoranda and board presentation decks.
• Screen market opportunities and develop preliminary valuations and return analyses.
• Manage information requests with advisers and internal teams.
• Maintain deal trackers and closing condition matrices; flag risks.
• Assist with post-close transition and asset onboarding.
