Job summary

Lippes Mathias is seeking an associate attorney with 3–8+ years of corporate transactional experience to join its award-winning Corporate, Private Equity, and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups. The role focuses on sophisticated transactions for middle-market clients, with mentorship and comprehensive training.

The ideal candidate has experience in private company M&A, drafting purchase agreements, and serving as a key deal team member under partner supervision.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to NY or FL bar.
• Client-service orientation and a desire to develop business over time.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple matters.

Responsibilities

• Work on private equity and M&A matters, including purchase agreements and deal coordination.
• Collaborate with partners to provide business-oriented, risk-adjusted legal advice.
• Serve as second chair on deals and draft/negotiation of key docs under supervision.
• Engage with clients including middle-market PE firms and family offices; develop relationships.
