Job summary

Jobtailor in Boston seeks an entry-level analyst to represent the firm in client engagements with exposure to senior bankers. The role supports M&A and private capital advisory work and offers a hands-on start in deal execution.

You will participate in recruiting initiatives and mentorship programs, contribute to winning new engagements, and collaborate with teammates on active workstreams. Strong Excel skills and clear written/verbal communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Bachelor's degree or pursuing a four-year degree; GPA 3.2+
• GPA of 3.2 or higher
• Academic performance with outside-class involvement (sports, clubs, work)
• Excel formulas, data validation, macros, tables, and conditional formatting understanding
• Ability to connect income statement, cash flow, and balance sheet concepts
• Identify trends in data and articulate impact
• Collaborative and motivated to meet challenges
• Responsive and able to answer emails/calls quickly in an on-call role
• Able to clarify deadlines and stay aligned with the team
• On-call, in-office role; willing to work long hours when required
• Quality-check work for accuracy
• Articulate thoughts and ideas verbally and in writing
• Recent grads or near graduates with limited work experience
• In lieu of a degree, a combination of education, certifications, and experience may be considered

Requirements

• Working toward or already possessing a Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
• Academic performance combined with involvement outside the classroom, such as sports, student-led organizations, or work experience
• Understanding of Excel formulas, data validation, macros, tables, and conditional formatting
• Working understanding of connections among the income statement, cash flow statement, and balance sheet
• Ability to identify trends in data and articulate their impact
• Motivated by challenge and able to work collaboratively
