Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe body mechanics during patient transfers.
• Designs a plan of care with goals, treatment, outcomes and discharge.
• Educates patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluates findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes.
• Documents according to policy and regulatory standards.
• Supervises PTA and rehab technicians as needed.
• Communicates progress and discharge needs with the medical team.
