Job summary

Westminster Communities of Florida seeks a Physical or Occupational Therapist for our Health Center on an on-call/PRN basis. You will provide patient assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and collaborate with the clinical team.

Responsibilities include program development, teaching care staff, and supervision of licensed therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required. A background in long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current FL licensure as Physical or Occupational Therapist.
• 1–2 years of experience in long-term care settings preferred.
• Home Health experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat physical conditions (Lymphadema) to restore function and mobility.
• Conduct assessment and screens to determine therapy needs with appropriate treatments.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the patient system.
• Perform Resident Home Assessments as part of discharge planning and ongoing care.
• Screen residents during admissions and periodic reviews to determine therapy needs.
