The LVT will coordinate animal transport to the SPCA Serving Erie County, operate the college van, and maintain logs, records, and health documentation in compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology Program and licensed in good standing.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; detail‑oriented.
• Willingness to learn AVMA standards and contemporary veterinary medicine practices.

Responsibilities

• Instructs courses and assists with hands‑on lab sessions for veterinary technology courses.
• Coordinates and executes animal transport to SPCA Serving Erie County; maintains logs and records.
• Provides basic husbandry care and supports student learning in clinical skills and safety.
• Ensures lab spaces are clean, stocked, and compliant with biosafety and animal handling protocols.
• Drives college transport van and communicates with SPCA staff for schedules and special instructions.
