Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology Program.
• Licensed New York State veterinary technician (LVT) in good standing.
• Immunization against infections/diseases related to the occupation (e.g., rabies).
• Knowledge of AVMA accreditation standards and contemporary medicine.

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty in preparing and delivering laboratory sessions for veterinary technology courses.
• Provide technical and educational support to students during hands-on clinical skill development.
• Ensure laboratory spaces are clean, organized, and stocked with supplies and equipment.
• Maintain lab safety and comply with biosafety and animal handling protocols.
• Support demonstrations and learning activities under instructional staff supervision.
