Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Katy, TX to apply the nursing process and deliver patient care under supervision. The role requires current LVN license in TX, a health certificate, PPD/Chest X‑Ray, and a current BLS card, with one year of LVN experience preferred.

The position supports patient care delivery in a private duty setting, with training provided for specialized nursing tasks and equipment management as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state where practice occurs.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior LVN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
• Other LVN duties as assigned.

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will consistently perform according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.
