Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their homes. Patient care includes gtube, trach, and vent care as needed, with opportunities to advance skills.

Pay ranges from $32 to $36 per hour. Eligible benefits include health, dental, vision, HSA, life insurance, paid time off, and retirement options. Prior nursing experience in home health is preferred, with potential for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current LVN license in the practicing state.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray within required period.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing care per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LVN in the state in which the LVN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
