Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide in-home nursing care for pediatric and/or adult patients with gtube, trach, and vent care needs in Escondido, California.

Responsibilities include assessing and delivering skilled nursing care per orders, monitoring changes in patient condition, and documenting findings. Current LVN license in California, TB test or chest X-ray, and BLS are required; one year of nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LVN license in the state where practice is required.
• Current TB test or Chest X-ray.
• Current BLS (basic life support) card.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyzes, and interprets data and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Pay Range $ 32 / per hour - $ 36 / per hour

Responsibilities:
