Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Oakland is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

You will perform nursing assessments, administer prescribed treatments, monitor patient status, and document care in collaboration with the health team. Competitive pay, weekly paychecks, and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN/LVN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
