Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Emeryville is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide skilled nursing care to pediatric and/or adult patients in their homes. The LVN will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Applicants must be licensed as an LVN in the practicing state, have a current TB or Chest X-Ray, a current BLS card, and preferably one year of professional nursing experience. Competitive pay, weekly paychecks, benefits, and PTO are offered.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
