Job summary

HumanGood in Irvine, CA is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for on-call, night shift at our Regents Point community. This on-site, part-time role requires availability to work weekends and overnight hours.

You will provide care in the Skilled Nursing setting, document care via electronic health records, and collaborate with the care team to support residents’ rehabilitation and independence. California LVN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school and currently licensed as an LVN/LPN to practice in California.
• Senior Care, Skilled Nursing, Hospital or Rehabilitation Experience.
• Proficient computer skills to complete documentation and review electronic health records and communicate with team members.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional nursing or caregiver experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in the Skilled Nursing arena.
• Assist residents to maximize rehabilitation, independence and participation.
• May supervise caregivers providing resident services as needed.
• Plan and implement nursing services to provide quality care.

Description

Under general supervision, actively incorporates our “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care.” Develops awareness of residents’ interests and needs, and assists residents to maximize their rehabilitation, independence and participation. Will provide care and assistance of residents in the Skilled Nursing arena and on limited occasions may supervise caregivers providing resident services; effectively plans and implements nursing services to provide quality care.

Schedule : On-call. Night shift. Must be willing to work weekends.

• (10:30pm to 7:00am)

Pay Range

• $34 to $36 an hour, depending on experience

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school and currently licensed as an LVN/LPN to practice in applicable state.

Experience/Training:

• Senior Care, Skilled Nursing, Hospital or Rehabilitation Experience
• Proficient computer skills necessary to complete documentation, review electronic health records and communicate with team members.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional nursing or caregiver experience preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Current LVN license in California
• Current CPR certification
