Job summary

Terraces at San Joaquin Gardens - HumanGood in Fresno, CA is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) to care for residents and support the care team.

Shifts include 6:00AM-2:00PM, 2:00PM-10:00PM, and 10:00PM-6:00AM. New grads are welcome; CPR certification and CA LVN/LPN license required within 90 days of applying.

Qualifications

• Current LVN/LPN license in CA or obtained within 90 days.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prior nursing experience: senior care, skilled nurse, post-acute or sub-acute care preferred.
• New grads are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents per plan of care.
• Coordinate assignments with care partners and supervise team members.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Description

Our Licensed Vocational Nurses/Licensed Practical Nurses (LVN/LPN) are responsible for the nursing needs of residents, while actively incorporating our "Philosophy for person-directed Care." You will ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors to participate in the resident's daily life rhythm. You would help develop assignments in coordination with the care partners and keep each team member accountable for resident care and satisfaction.

Shifts: 6:00AM-2:00PM, 2:00PM-10:00PM, 10:00 PM-6:00 AM

To be successful in the role, you would have:

• Current LVN/LPN (or obtained within 90 days) in the state for which applying
• Current CPR certification
• Prior nursing experience: senior care, skilled nurse, post-acute or sub-acute care preferred
