Job summary

PACS is seeking a licensed LPN/LVN with leadership to supervise nursing staff in a post-acute care facility in the San Diego area. You will guide nursing assistants, ensure adherence to policies, and maintain documentation and care plans.

A strong focus on quality, compliance, and teamwork is essential. The role requires current CPR certification, English proficiency, and a nursing degree or LPN/LVN program completion.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must have current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines governing the facility.
• Review and update department policies and procedures; participate in quality assurance activities.
• Supervise nursing staff assignments, planning shifts, services, programs, and activities.
• Ensure Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current and followed; report on shift activities.
• Maintain required nursing documentation, reports, and discharge plans.
• Participate in surveillance and inspection activities, and cooperate with government surveys.
