Job summary

Pacific Villas Post Acute is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead day-to-day nursing operations in our long-term care facility. The role involves supervising nursing assistants, ensuring adherence to facility policies, and coordinating care planning with physicians and staff.

You will also oversee documentation, charting, medication administration, and quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of resident care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with the facility's policies and procedures.
• Meet with staff to plan shifts, services, and activities.
• Maintain the Nursing Service Procedures Manual and QA program.
• Complete accident/incident reports as required.
• Oversee charting and documentation, including medication administration.
• Participate in surveys and coordinate discharge planning as needed.
• Lead staffing evaluations and supervisor relationships to improve care.
