Job summary

PACS is seeking an LPN/LVN to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants in a long-term care facility. You will ensure adherence to federal, state, and local standards under the direction of the Nurse Supervisor and Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities include directing daily nursing operations, charting, medication administration, and staff supervision, with focus on quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Perform administrative duties and maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Chart nurses' notes and transcribe orders accurately.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician and verify resident identity.
• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality care.

Education
